Is this called 'Burning the mid-night lamp'?
Monday: January 15, 2007 passed..not completely..according to IST, the day passed. The night was still lying ahead like a huge stone unturned.
Night also passed!!
Tuesday: January 16, 2007 passed.again Day and the long night was again ahead of me. The trauma was like a dog waiting for something to be put before him in his bowl..wagging his tongue and tail..in sync!
Tuesday night also passed!!
2 nights have passed but not easily. No sleep, full of anxiety. Before I can see clearly in the morning, Hotmail is wide open to be checked for any new mail. What comes is some advertisement mail or some chat request from some university...but no mail which comes from a queens.ca domain is there.
This is an entirely different explaination for the idiom 'Burning the mid-night lamp'!
The wait is still on..the eyes are still waiting..never before I have undergone this experience.
Should I call the ad-com? Let's wait for some more time!
